MagMod reviews
MagBeam
The MagMod MagBeam is our pick when you want to throw flash light a long way with snoot-like precision. A tele lens concentrates the beam for receptions, wildlife and distant subjects, and a swappable wide lens with MagMask patterns turns it into a pattern projector. It attaches through a MagGrip 2.

MagBox Pro 24 Octa
The MagMod MagBox Pro 24 Octa is our pick for a fast, portable off-camera softbox. A zip-on diffuser, a magnet-attaching honeycomb grid, an integrated gel slot and a built-in storage pocket make setup quick, and it works with one or two speedlights through a MagGrip.

MagShoe 2
The MagMod MagShoe 2 is our pick for mounting a flash and a MagBox Pro softbox to a stand. A secured lock keeps the flash from falling off, a squeeze trigger tilts it without nuts and screws, and the included 1/4-20 adapter opens up more mounting options.

MagSnoot 2
The MagMod MagSnoot 2 is our pick when you want a tight, controlled beam from a speedlight for rim lights, hair lights and accents. It collapses into four stages for four beam patterns, so one small silicone piece covers several jobs, and it attaches magnetically through a MagGrip 2.

MagBounce 2
The MagMod MagBounce 2 is a magnetic, silicone flash-bounce modifier for photographers who want broader coverage from a portable speedlight setup. We recommend it for event and portrait work when a compatible MagGrip is already in the bag or included in the plan; the modifier alone does not mount to a flash.

MagGrid 2
The MagMod MagGrid 2 is a compact flash grid for photographers who want to keep more speedlight output on a chosen part of the scene. Its magnetic attachment works through the required MagGrip, and MagMod says one grid forms a 40-degree beam that can be tightened by stacking additional grids. We recommend it for controlled portrait, event and accent lighting when you already have a compatible MagGrip; choose a broader diffuser when you want light to spread more widely.

MagSphere 2
The MagMod MagSphere 2 is a compact silicone diffuser for photographers who want to soften and spread speedlight output without carrying a large modifier. Its magnetic attachment makes it easy to combine with the wider MagMod system, while the flexible body packs down in a camera bag. Choose it when broad, gentle fill is useful, and budget for the required MagGrip if your flash does not already have one.
