GoPro HERO 9 to 13 owners who film while swimming, snorkeling or at the beach and want a stick, a tripod and a remote in one.
You use a DJI or another brand of action camera, or you shoot deeper than 15m.
Action cameras get used where phones cannot go, and a selfie stick built for water makes them easier to handle there. The Telesin Bluetooth Underwater Selfie Stick Tripod pairs a waterproof grip with a remote, so you can control a GoPro without touching it. We recommend it for pools, snorkeling, shallow reefs, beaches and travel vlogs.
Built for the water
The stick has an IP68 rating for use down to 15 meters. A Signal Enhancement Module inside the handle is designed to keep the Bluetooth connection stable when the stick is submerged, and the response time is 0.3 seconds, so a button press registers quickly.
Reach and tripod legs
A 5-section pole extends to 47cm for wider framing and group shots, and retracts for packing. Unfold the tripod legs at the base and the stick becomes a stand for time-lapses at the pool, talking-head clips and behind-the-scenes angles.
Three buttons, three modes
Power, mode and shutter are three large, clearly separated buttons that you can use with wet fingers. The stick switches the camera between Timelapse, Video and Photo, with three indicator lights showing the active mode. A built-in battery lasts up to 10 hours of continuous use.
See our action camera accessories guide for how to choose between handles, sticks and cases, and our tripod buying guide for stands. For a DJI camera, see the Telesin floating remote selfie stick review.
